You May Have a Drinking Problem If . . .
Alcohol aside, most people have one or more drinking problems. This includes milk, coffee* and soda beverages (pop).

. . . If You Drink MILK:

Mother’s milk is the perfect food for babies. Human mother’s milk is perfect for human babies and cow’s milk is perfect for calves. They are not interchangeable. Calves require a very different nutrient balance than humans, including far more protein than human babies can tolerate. The shorter the life span of a mammal, the higher the protein content is of the milk it produces for its young. Nature is intolerant of crossed boundaries.

Mothers milk is for babies – not for children, teen-agers or adults. ("... consult nature herself"[1] - ever seen a full-grown cow or bull nursing?)

Studies have shown that calves exclusively fed pasteurized cows milk will die within two weeks. (Is there a message here, maybe?)

The results of Homogenization have been connected to scarred, blocked arteries, strokes and heart disease, leading to disabilities, paralysis and premature death. (from “Homogenized! By Nicholas Samsidis, MD)

High incidence of osteoporosis and other debilitating diseases have been linked to consumption of milk. Quoting from the cover of “Don’t Drink Your Milk” by Dr. Frank Oski, MD:

“CAUTION: Milk Can Be Harmful to Your Health! The frightening new medical facts about the world's most over-rated nutrient...”  Frank Oski, MD, is the Director, Department of Pediatrics, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Physician-in-Chief, the Johns Hopkins Children's Center.”

If you drink milk, it is highly likely that you do have a drinking problem.* (Also see "Mooore About Milk")

. . . If You Drink COFFEE*:

Years ago Dr. Regan Golob gave me a test that proved to me that coffee* was a primary cause of a chronic health problem that I had at the time. When I stopped drinking coffee*, the problem went away.

Decaffeinated coffee may be even harder on our systems than regular coffee. You can prove this about coffee for yourself by taking the abstention test defined below. For 30 days do not drink any coffee. (I know, I know – but there is a wonderful substitute now called “Teeccino” that tests beneficially on people, provides energizing potassium, and tastes wonderfully like coffee!)

If you drink coffee*, you might have a drinking problem.

*UPDATE NOTE: 30 years after Dr. Golob convinced me to stop drinking coffee, he alerted me to a recent technological advancement that infuses ganoderma lucidum (a.k.a. Reishi, Lingzhi, "the King of Herbs") with high-quality coffees, teas and cocoa. This not only seems to neutralize the negative effects of coffee, the daily intake of ganoderma seems to be responsible for some remarkable healing experiencees, weight loss and sustained energy enhancements. If you choose to drink coffee, the Organo Gold products are likely your best choice.

. . . If You Drink POP:

As if the carbonation, stress-inducing ingredients and sugar weren’t bad enough for us, now we have the artificial sweetener Aspartame.

Many people drink Aspartame-sweetened beverages to help lose weight. Unfortunately it may cause exactly the opposite effect. When the body senses sweetness entering the body it immediately dumps sugar to prepare for more sugar on the way. When it realizes that it wasn’t sugar after all, it stimulates hunger in an attempt to replenish sugar balance. We then raid the refrigerator, or down a box of chocolates, completely defeating the good intention to lose weight with a sugarless beverage.

Another down-side of Aspartame is that it apparently causes a variety of disease symptoms, including a condition which closely mimics multiple sclerosis.

If you drink pop, you more than likely have a drinking problem.

THE TEST

Here is the test that convinced me: Go 30 days without milk, coffee or pop.  After 30 days pay careful attention to how you feel. Drink a cup of coffee. Now how do you feel?. Tension? Headache? Backaches? Neck pain? Stomach upset? Burning nerves? Feeling of mild panic?

Go another 24 hours “clean”, then have a big glass of pasteurized, homogenized milk. Now add stuffiness, runny nose, phlegm, a thick-headed feeling, etc. to your list. When you have recovered from this (usually weeks), try it with a bottle of pop. Same symptoms as coffee, perhaps? Pay attention to what your body is telling you!

THE CURE

Switch to clean (filtered) water, fruit juices and vegetable juices – especially fresh fruit and vegetable juices, made with a juicer in your own kitchen. They taste better, feel better in your body, provide you with essential vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals, and they resolve drinking problems.

[1] Sir Francis Bacon, from "Preparative Toward Natural and Experimental History":
"... For in this way, and in this way only, can the foundations of a true and active philosophy be established; and then will men wake as from deep sleep, and at once perceive what a difference there is between the dogmas and figments of the wit and a true and active philosophy, and what it is in questions of nature to consult nature herself."
