Bruce
was unable to get to a store that sold organic
fresh greens, so he settled for a bag salad
consisting primarily of romaine and iceberg
lettuce from his corner store. When he saw
it in the bowl, he had second thoughts about
even eating it.
By hiding it under a
decorative layer of spiraled crookneck
squash, carrot and sliced mushroom, and by
adding a thick, nutritious and colorful
salad dressing, he was able to make a very
enjoyable meal from meager beginnings.
